Make This Saturday Different

 

November 23rd is a date that most people do not have circled on their calendar, however, this year St. Jude Children's Research Hospital has made it a day to save lives. Tomorrow marks the beginning of the St. Jude Give Thanks Walk in cities all across the United States.

Groups fighting for hope and people rallying to support certain St. Jude kids bring a spirited and unforgettable feeling to a city near you. TKE chapters across the United States and Canada have raised money for this historical event. It is fair to say that those who have participated in this event in the past have raised their goal and will be walking again.

The Offices of the Grand Chapter encourage every member of TKE to start a fundraising page, or contribute to a TKE team that has made the initiative already. We are Better Men for a Better World and Frater Danny Thomas proved that statement when he founded the St. Jude Hospital over 50 years ago.

Tomorrow can be a day to sit on your couch and do the same old routine. Or, tomorrow can be a day that you look back on and say, "I WAS THERE AND I MADE A DIFFERENCE."
