Grand Council Visits St. Jude

Grand Council Visits St. Jude

Grand Council & Staff at St. JudeINDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Grand Council, along with members of the TKE Professional Staff, met with officials at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital today. The purpose of their visit was to tour the facilities, meet some great kids, and talk about how TKE can best support the hospital.

The morning began early for the attendees who arrived at the Patient Care Center for the start of their tour. The guide told them about the history of the hospital and why their research facilities are some of the world’s best. After getting a taste of a day in the life of a patient, the group continued on to the Target House (a long term patient stay building). A family with a child staying at the house talked with TKE about their experience at St. Jude and what a great philanthropic cause it is to support. See pictures of their visit here.

The board and professional staff met for their quarterly sync-up to discuss other matters of the fraternity. Tonight the group will meet up with area alumni and collegiates at the Elvis Presley Car Museum. If you are in the Memphis area, they would love you to join them.
