#ShowYourGold for St. Jude
St. Jude #ShowYourGold
MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Get Up. It's GameDay. That's the call to action by ESPN's College GameDay, a premier entertainment show highlighting the world of college football each Saturday morning. Across the country, that message will be ever more present as today actually is, well, game day!
However, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital has designed a campaign to let fans know that every day in the month of September is game day for the children of St. Jude.
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and St. Jude is using the hashtag #ShowYourGold to raise awareness across sites like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Users can upload their own photos, and add virtual gold accessories to show support for St. Jude patients. Celebrities like Ellen DeGeneres have gotten behind the campaign with many more joining.
The campaign is built toward the St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer, which will take place in dozens of cities across the United States during September 19 and 26.
Tau Kappa Epsilon is a Silver Level National Team sponsor of the event and has raised $19,088 through 314 donations. Help us reach our $50,000 goal by registering today.
