Chapter Scholarships

Yes, all chapters are offered a scholarship fund through the TKE Foundation. Scholarships established before April 2016 must reach a $5,000 fund balance and scholarships established after April 2016 must reach a $10,000 fund balance to be awarded each fiscal year.
Please visit TKE.org/ChapterScholarships for a listing of active scholarships and current award amounts. The authorized scholarship amount is determined by the fund balance as of May 31 each year. Scholarship funds can also be viewed in your Chapter Module.
Chapter scholarships are administered and awarded on a chapter-by-chapter basis. Please contact your Chapter Advisor or other alumni volunteer to inquire about your chapter’s application process and award procedures. Members interested in applying for Grand Chapter scholarships may complete the application at TKE.org/Scholarships.
Chapters must submit a scholarship authorization form approved by an alumni volunteer to Foundation@TKE.org by April 15.

Grand Chapter Scholarships

Grand Chapter scholarships are awarded each May. Chapter scholarships may be awarded throughout the academic year with the deadline to submit scholarship paperwork being April 15.

No, by completing the online application at TKE.org/Scholarships, you will be considered for all available Grand Chapter awards.

General Questions

Scholarships support the academic success of individual members by providing funding to offset educational expenses. Leadership Funds aid the educational needs of chapters by offsetting member registration costs for Regional Leadership Conferences and Conclave. Special Project Funds are used for supporting educational housing projects.
A direct donation link for your chapter’s scholarship can be found at TKE.org/ChapterScholarships. We encourage chapters to share this donation link in their chapter and alumni correspondence. Our Foundation is pleased to provide additional assistance with creating customized messaging for your chapter. To get started, please contact Foundation@TKE.org.
Scholarship checks and award packets are mailed to chapter and Grand Chapter scholarship recipients. You will receive an award letter requesting you send either a digital or written thank you to TKE Foundation, once the Thank you is received please allow 14-21 business days for processing.
Scholarship recipients are encouraged to send a typed thank you note to Foundation@TKE.org or a handwritten note to the address below:

Thank you notes should be addressed "Dear Frater" and will be forwarded on your behalf to the donor(s) who made your scholarship possible.
Yes, collegiate members are eligible to receive both a chapter and Grand Chapter scholarship in the same academic year.
