Ryan J. Vescio (Founders Society) was initiated into the Rho-Omega chapter at the University of South Carolina in December 1998. He transferred to the University of Central Florida where he served as undergraduate Prytanis, Rush Chairman and Hegemon for the Xi-Iota chapter and on the Collegiate Advisory Committee. Ryan was appointed to the Alumni Volunteer Academy Advisory Board in 2002. In 2003, he became a member of the TKE 2010 Task Force, was Province Advisor for the Apollo Province, and served as Grand Province Advisor the following year. He served on the Grand Court as Chief Grand Justice from 2008 to 2011 and Grand Justice from 2011 to 2013. He was appointed as the Judiciary Committee Chairman in 2011 and served in that role until he was elected Grand Pylortes at the 2015 Conclave in New Orleans. A Life Loyal Teke, Ryan was a recipient of the Key Leader Award in 2003. He is a member of the TEF Knights of Strength.
Frater Vescio is Assistant State Attorney, Florida Office of the State Attorney, 9th Judicial Circuit where he prosecutes homicide and major crime cases. He is Advocacy Committee Chair and Executive Committee member of the University of Central Florida Alumni Association and a Criminal Law Section Executive Counsel member of the Florida Bar. He is also a Democratic candidate for State Attorney for Brevard and Seminole counties in Florida.
Ryan attended UCF from 1999 to 2002 where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in political science and was a member of the Student Government Association. He then attended Nova Southeastern University–Shepard Broad Law Center where he was selected to become a member of the Nova Law Review and worked with the Law School Honor Court. He graduated in 2005 with his Juris Doctor degree. Frater Vescio is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and Justice Teaching Program. He was awarded the MADD Prosecutor of the Year for the State of Florida in 2007; Certificate of Commendation, Orange County Sheriff’s Office, 2010; and the Polaris Star Award, Florida Abolitionists, in 2012.
In his spare time from work, Ryan enjoys outings with the family, golf, and UCF football games.
Frater Vescio serves on the TKE Risk Committee and Personnel Committee. He previously served the Fraternity as a Grand Council At-Large Member from 2011–13.
