Regional Leadership Conferences Are Back, Dates Announced

INDIANAPOLIS – Tau Kappa Epsilon is proud to announce that the Regional Leadership Conference name has returned. Additionally, we have finalized all contracts with each RLC location which gives groups in TKE nation the ability to better plan their calendar.

Though the Triangle Summit name had a great connection with our Fraternity and created great imagery to Climb Toward Excellence, the Regional Leadership Conference name and brand has historical importance and significance to our Fraternity. Because of this, Tau Kappa Epsilon has changed the Triangle Summit name back to Regional Leadership Conferences.

The dates of the RLCs are as follows:

• Feb 3 - 5, 2017 - Elmer & Donna Smith RLC – Grand Hyatt Atlanta, 3300 Peachtree Road NE, Atlanta, GA
• Feb 10 - 12, 2017 – New York/New Jersey RLC – Hyatt Jersey City, 2 Exchange Pl, Jersey City, NJ 07302
• Feb 17 - 19, 2017 – Donald R. Tapia RLC – Hyatt Regency Indianapolis, 1 S. Capital Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46204
• Feb 24 - 26, 2017 – Greg & Cay Woodson RLC – Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino, 129 Fremont St, Las Vegas, NV 89101

Chief Executive Officer, Donald E. Aldrich, shared "I'm very excited that we have negotiated with these four excellent hotel properties to get the best possible deal for our members. The Regional Leadership Conference is the best value for your dollar. Our members will be proud to know we are currently working to enhance your experience in February of 2017."

Now is the prime time to get prepared for the upcoming RLC season. "This information was released earlier than previous years to enable our members to make the most of this opportunity. Now is the time to work with your alumni and local volunteers to raise money through TKE Educational Foundation Special Projects Funds. Additionally, contact your college/university’s Student Government or Fraternity/Sorority Life office to apply for student activities funding to offset the cost of attending," said Aldrich.

The RLC website, pricing and registration will be live for the 2017 RLCs in August 2016. The early bird registration deadline is December 1st at 11:59 p.m. pacific.
