Alpha-Theta Chapter Holds Thanksgiving Dinner for Senior Living Community
We're a day away from Thanksgiving, but that doesn't mean it's too early to give thanks.
Last Wednesday, Fraters from the Alpha-Theta chapter at Whitman College in Walla Walla, Wash., welcomed senior citizens and staff from the local Odd Fellows Retirement Home for an early Thanksgiving dinner.
Roughly 30 individuals from Odd Fellows attended the dinner, which was organized, prepped and catered by members of the chapter. Frater NoahLani Litwinsella, philanthropy chairman of the Alpha-Theta chapter, described the evening as filled with cheerful banter and holiday delight.
"It was an honor to share this night with the wonderful people from Odd Fellows," Litwinsella says. "Seeing their smiles and watching them laugh with brothers of the chapter makes me truly proud to be a part of the Tau Kappa Epsilon community."
The Alpha-Theta chapter is already looking forward to next year's event.
