TKE Educational Foundation Expands Staff Strength

The TKE Educational Foundation is excited to announce two staff appointments which will continue to drive revenue growth and efficiency. This action follows the Board of Directors strategic plan for creating and developing talent while enhancing Fraternity support.

Rachel Stevenson has been promoted to Communications Manager effective June 1, 2019. In her new responsibilities, she will oversee internal and external communications as well as create and identify new vehicles to further the Foundation’s message to all member audiences. In her previous role, Rachel coordinated Board meetings, oversaw scholarships and will continue in the role of "point person" for our Conclave Committee. Rachel has been with the Foundation since January 2019 and has provided great impact in only a short time. Congratulations Rachel on this well-deserved promotion.

Jenny Plummer has accepted the position of TKE Educational Foundation Office Manager effective May 20, 2019. As the Office Manager with Alpha Tau Omega for the last eight years, Jenny has established herself as an expert in office functionality with multiple areas of responsibility particularly in software applications, data entry and donor relations. During her career, she has directed analyzed, recommended and implemented procedural and policy changes to improve operations. Jenny completed her undergraduate degree in Business from Harrison College. Jenny, her husband, Rob, and their children, Gabe (15), Abby (14) and Christian (6), reside in Pittsboro, IN.

Jill Thompson will remain in the position of Annual Fund Manager, however will move to part-time status as of June 1, 2019. This year, Jill successfully created and managed the first ever #IAMTKE campaign spanning from December 2018 through Founders’ Day, January 10th. During that period, more than $300,000 was raised and directed towards the Annual Fund, Leadership Academy and the Life Loyal Teke program. Jill remains a vital contributor to the efforts of the Foundation and will operate in this position from her home office while continuing to attend staff and organizational meetings on a regular basis. Her contributions have and will continue to be a staple of our ongoing success.

Established in 1967, the TKE Educational Foundation is a non-profit 501(C)(3) organization to establish and support scholarships and leadership training programs which promote academic achievement and strengthen moral, social, and community values. We accomplish this by channeling fundraising dollars toward Fraternity programs to enrich the lives of collegiate and alumni. The TKE Educational Foundation Supports Tekes of Today and Tomorrow.
