Grand Prytanis Bob Barr Celebrates Birthday

INDIANAPOLIS – The Offices of the Grand Chapter would like to wish Grand Prytanis Bob Barr a happy birthday today. Frater Barr has been a valuable asset to the growth and development to Tau Kappa Epsilon and the solidarity of the Fraternity's standing is a testament to his leadership.

Prior to serving as Grand Prytanis, Frater Barr served as Grand Epiprytanis from 2011-2013, Grand Grammateus from 2009-2011, Grand Crysophylos from 2008-2009 and Grand Histor in 2008.

In his 2014 Founder's Day address, Frater Barr stated, "From Ronald Reagan to Steve Forbes to the men who serve the Grand Chapter through their service on the Grand Council, Teke men constantly are building better men and a better world. Consider your headquarters staff, your alumni advisors, the Frater next to you...and you know immediately and definitively that TKE continues to build Better Men for a Better World."

Frater Bob Barr is a member of the Opportunity Out of Defeat Club and represented the 7th District of George in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1995 to 2003. He was initiated into the Beta-Sigma chapter at the University of Southern California, received his master's degree from George Washington University and his law degree from Georgetown University.
