SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Nearly 800 Fraters and guests showed the city of San Antonio what TKE is all about. From service to education to fun, Fraters impressed many with their work ethic and commitment to excellence. As new leadership begins this biennium, we take a moment to reflect on what was the 56th Biennial Conclave.
The Teke Institute at Conclave 2011 is set to be a dynamic program. The topics vary from personal, professional, chapter and beyond. The hardest decision you will have to make is which one you will attend.
The TKE Nation is growing stronger – thanks to you. Much like a muscle reacts to hard work put in each day, the power of Tau Kappa Epsilon is increasing.
More than 1,300 Fraters flocked to five Regional Leadership Conference sites – making 2011 a record-breaking year. The "Essence of Excellence" was realized by the attendees and the immense amount of learning gained throughout each weekend.
Do you desire to help the TKE Nation in a much bigger way than ever before? Are exceptionally passionate about this Fraternity? Do you want to help build better men to build a better world? How many community service hours have you accumulated? How much money have you raised for good causes? What types of activities have your chapter members shown leadership? These are the things TKE wants to know. Aside from gauging how great the chapter or colony is doing in service and philanthropy, we want to promote your good works in the The TEKE magazine and on tke.org.
With the Elmer & Donna Smith Regional Leadership Conference in Atlanta and Baltimore RLC yet to commence, the TKE Nation has already surpassed attendance records for these important educational programs. The Kansas City RLC kicked-off the month with more than 180 attendees. This past weekend, the Greg & Cay Woodson RLC in San Francisco and Indianapolis RLC saw record numbers as well. There are rumors there will be nearly 300 attendees in Atlanta and nearly 400 in Baltimore.
UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – For the past two weeks, Fraters and Friends of the Upsilon-Delta Chapter have been all over the Saginaw Valley State University campus raising awareness and funds to help St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Fraters from the Zeta-Lambda Colony (Bowling Green State Univ.) helped to raise funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital while watching the Super Bowl Sunday night.
Do you watch the Super Bowl? Do you like making a difference with community service and philanthropy? TKE and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital have partnered to develop the Game Day. Give Back. event to help raise funds and have some fun doing it.
