Fraters Help Legends for Charity

The Offices of the Grand Chapter, including TKE CEO Steven A. Ramos (Zeta-Theta, Western Illinois Univ.), helped St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital with their Legends for Charity event at the Super Bowl. This year’s dinner was held in the host city of Indianapolis, also home to Tau Kappa Epsilon.

Meet Fraters Aaron Rodgers & Graham Harrell

GREEN BAY, Wisc. – In the 18th hour of the fifth day in 2012, two great men joined Tau Kappa Epsilon. Fraters Aaron Rodgers and Graham Harrell, both quarterbacks for the NFL’s Green Bay Packers, were initiated into the Sigma-Xi Chapter at St. Norbert College.

It’s More than a Game

In less than 90 days, Super Bowl XLVI will kickoff in downtown Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium. While two teams will be fighting it out for bragging rights on the football field, members of Tau Kappa Epsilon will be seeking a different goal – help St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital continue its mission of saving lives one child at a time.

IUPUI Fraters Ride 2011 Miles for St. Jude

Taylor Courtyard at IUPUI (Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis) has many events, from Rush activities to the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. Today the courtyard was host to the Upsilon-Iota chapter’s 2011 Miles for Memphis, a philanthropy event to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

The phrase Better Men for a Better World expresses a sense of civic duty and responsibility. Service and Philanthropy are the fabric for this mission. Since 1899, Fraters have worked diligently to provide these two areas on their campuses, in their communities and beyond. TKE has been recognized as one of the fraternal leaders for many of those years and next Spring should be no different.
