Voting for 2020 International Sweetheart Now Open

Piper is the representative of the Iota-Theta chapter. She is a junior at Centenary College of Louisiana with a 3.90 GPA in psychology. She has been on the Dean’s List every semester since beginning college, is the captain of Centenary women’s soccer team and is the vice president of the Campus Engagement Student Government Association. Piper created the Food Recovery Network program at Centenary, which is a national non-profit helping to recover food that would go to waste to be donated to those in need. After college, she plans to attend graduate school for Speech-Language Pathology. “I realized that TKE was a haven for men to not only improve themselves but also to improve each other, their community and the world. Despite having intensely different cultural backgrounds, every Teke I met shared the characteristics of being caring, genuine and intelligent. As International TKE Sweetheart, I would have the opportunity to represent the world’s best and brightest college men. I would work tirelessly to honor that opportunity.”

Stephania is the representative of the Epsilon-Omicron chapter. She is a junior at the University of Houston, majoring in broadcast journalism with a 3.50 GPA. With a strong focus on scholastic success, she received an academic scholarship from the university. Stephania is a member of Zeta Tau Alpha fraternity, where she has severed as their vice president of the chapter, vice president of new member education, and social chair. She volunteers her time at the Houston Food Bank, as a New Student Ambassador, the Association of Latino American Students and the University of Houston Rodeo Cook-Off Team. “[It’s] my home away from home, as Tau Kappa Epsilon has brought a sense of comfort, identity and unity to my life and my college career. Tau Kappa Epsilon changed all of the aspects of my life as I started to slowly step into the world of becoming the woman who I envisioned to be.”

Rebecca is the representative of the Upsilon-Eta chapter. She is a senior at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology with a 4.10 GPA in forensic psychology. She is on the Dean’s List, recipient of the Ontario Secondary Scholarship and currently an applicant for the Queen’s Scholarship. She is a member of the local sorority, Alpha Sigma, where she serves at the philanthropy chair, social chair, and historian. Rebecca volunteers at many places including a local high school with special needs children, soup kitchen and a retirement home. She also participates in raising money for the AIDs committee of Durham for research, the Canadian Spinal Research Organization and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. “For me, representing TKE is more than just showing off. It is getting involved, which is something I make a priority of doing and will continue to do so through volunteering, giving back and getting involved with other organizations throughout my time in post-secondary studies. As International Sweetheart, I would be honored to be able to represent this fraternity because, for me, TKE is more than just an organization to do some good and make friends in college; it is my family for life.”

Rachel is the representative of Beta-Zeta chapter. She is a senior at Louisiana Tech University with a 3.70 GPA, pursuing a master’s of business administration. She was on the Dean’s and President’s list throughout her undergraduate degree and has her first year as a MBA student fully covered by state and University scholarships. Rachel is a member of Kappa Delta sorority where she has severed as their vice president finance assistant, computer chair and a junior Panhellenic delegate. She actively participates in Kappa Delta’s philanthropy events that, over the past year, has raised $32,000. “My dedication to Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity does not end upon graduation. I will remain committed to this fraternity and the Beta-Zeta chapter for the decades to come. As part of my legacy, I have created a scholarship to cover one member’s Regional Leadership Conference costs. This past RLC season, the Beta-Zeta chapter was able to send sixteen members to Atlanta, Georgia. Seeing the brothers come back to campus on fire for Tau Kappa Epsilon, their brotherhood and St. Jude, ensures me that creating this scholarship was, and will always be, worth it.”

Lexie is the representative of the Beta-Rho chapter. She is a senior at the University of Akron with a 3.68 GPA, majoring in fashion merchandising. She has been on the Dean’s List for six semesters and received the Presidential Scholarship from the university. Lexie is a member of Delta Gamma Women’s fraternity, where she served as the chapter’s vice president. During her time in college, she has accumulated over 150 community service hours with various organizations, including but not limited to Akron Blind Center, Rockynol Nursing Home and the Akron Canton Regional Food Bank. “Representing TKE as the International Sweetheart would allow me to continue to create as great of an impact on the Fraternity as the Fraternity has already made on me.”
