TKE Leadership Academy Graduates 69

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – The 37th Annual Charles R. Walgreen, Jr. TKE Leadership Academy graduated 69 Fraters from across the United States and Canada. TKE has continued the tradition by cultivating the best and brightest leaders, providing them with the tools and application of a solid life skills portfolio in a controlled environment. The National Founders, and their leadership styles, are shown as the prime examples to challenge the current process and inspire all members to have a shared vision for the future vitality of the Fraternity.

This was an amazing experience both personally and for application to our chapter. I came in much less confident in my abilities to be a leader but am leaving here armed with an array of tools ready to take on any challenge. And when I’m struggling, I have found a great support network between the volunteers and fellow Tekes.

– TKELA XXXVII Graduate Kristofer Lecy (Gamma-Beta Emerging Chapter, Colorado State University)

Through a sequenced and balanced blend of keynote speakers, workshops, small group discussions, and outdoor activities, each attendee is challenged at a personal level and discovers new boundaries mentally, morally and socially. The curriculum takes a deeper look at Scholarship, Character, Leadership, Teamwork, Service and Brotherhood. By thinking critically and rising to lead us into our future, each Leadership Academy graduate walks away more focused and dedicated with a new sense of the concept Fraternity.

Congratulations to the 69 Graduates of the Charles R. Walgreen, Jr. TKE Leadership Academy XXXVII.

Only by developing a full understanding of attendees’ personal values, and the values of the Fraternity, can aspiring leaders truly begin the journey of leadership in TKE and beyond. Building better groups across TKE Nation begins with these men who took the time to develop their abilities. We look forward to seeing them succeed on their campus’ and in their communities in the 2024-25 school year.

Take a look at this year’s pictures and videos from the program. If you would like to apply next year, keep your eyes on our page, and if you want to see future Teke leaders get this amazing experience consider a donation to the program.

Special thanks to all the amazing volunteers, staff and donors who helped make the program an experience of a lifetime. Shout out to our small group facilitators Don Aldrich (Rho-Upsilon, Franklin), Barry Altland (Xi-Iota, Central Florida), Ryan Laughlin (Rho-Alpha, Winthrop), Chad Lewis (Gamma-Iota, Colorado Boulder), Grand Epiprytanis Mike McEvilly (Beta-Eta, Missouri S&T), Clayton Miller (Rho-Upsilon, Franklin), Brandon Rick (Beta, Millikin), Zach Scott (Epsilon-Beta, Tampa), Lee Stacey (Rho-Sigma, Grand Valley State), and James Upton (Iota-Omega, Glenville State). Without their hard work and dedication to building better men, this important program would not be possible. Thank you!
