2019-2021 Grand Council At-Large Applications & Committee Openings

The 2017-2019 biennium of the Grand Chapter concludes on August 3, 2019. In preparation for the 2019-2021 biennium, the Grand Council welcomes applications, nominations, and expressions of interest from alumni Fraters who wish to serve the Fraternity. Opportunities will be available on the Grand Council, Grand Council Committees, and various committees authorized by The Black Book.

In addition to the eight elected Grand Officers, the membership of the Grand Council includes two appointed at-large members who will be confirmed immediately after the new Grand Council is seated. Additionally, each biennium the Grand Prytanis appoints Fraters to serve on various committees established by the Black Book or the Grand Council such as Finance, Risk, and Programs.

The Grand Council seeks talented Fraters on a continuing basis to fill vacancies that arise and to prepare to fill the Grand Council at-large positions that will become vacant at the conclusion of this biennium.

Candidates should submit the following in a single pdf document to gc@tke.org:

1. A cover letter detailing why he is interested and qualified in joining the Grand Council or a Fraternity committee,
2. A professional resume,
3. A separate resume outlining involvement with Tau Kappa Epsilon.

Applications will be accepted on an on-going basis. All candidates for the Grand Council at-large positions will be required to submit to a background check and must complete a conflict of interest questionnaire and acknowledgement statements. Qualified candidates will be contacted as vacancies and opportunities arise.
