The anniversary was accompanied with a great showing at the Sorority & Fraternity Life Awards Banquet during Loyola's Weekend of Excellence. The event was an honor of the Greek community's achievements and recognition of contributions by students, advisors and staff.
The Epsilon-Kappa chapter received the following awards from the Office of Student Activities and Greek Affairs:
- IFC Chapter of the Year
- Commitment to Chapter Management
- Commitment to Academic Achievement
- Commitment to Leadership and Membership Development
- Commitment to Community Service and Philanthropy
- Excellence in Community Service Hours
- Most Improved Chapter GPA
- Fraternity Man of the Year – Jay Patel, Chapter Epiprytanis
The Offices of the Grand Chapter is extremely proud of the Epsilon-Kappa chapter and the work they have accomplished over the past year. "They've come a long way in the span of a year," says Fraternal Services Specialist Gabe Espinosa. "I'm looking forward to seeing which awards they claim at Conclave in New Orleans this summer."
