IUPUI Fraters Ride 2011 Miles for St. Jude
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Taylor Courtyard at IUPUI (Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis) has many events, from Rush activities to the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. Today the courtyard was host to the Upsilon-Iota chapter’s 2011 Miles for Memphis, a philanthropy event to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Fraters have pledged to ride bicycles around the courtyard for 30 hours.
Along with riding bikes, other events include a DJ, a bounce house, corn hole, and guest speakers from St. Jude and Tau Kappa Epsilon's professional staff. Also in attendance are the supportive women from IUPUI’s sororities, Alpha Sigma Alpha’s Theta-Zeta chapter, Phi-Mu’s Rho-Alpha chapter, Zeta Tau Alpha’s Lambda-Epsilon chapter, and the recently chartered Sigma-Kappas.
Anyone in the Indy area is welcome to bring the bikes and join in the festivities. Results will be updated as they become available.
