Grand Council Appointments, CAC Selected

GC, CAC SelectedINDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The two most influential advisory groups in the TKE Nation have been confirmed for the coming years. The Grand Council has appointed two at-large members and a Judiciary Chariman, while the Collegiate Advisory Committee for 2011-12 has been selected. Each of these bodies is charged with helping continue the tradition of building Better Men for a Better World. Congratulations to everyone.

The Judiciary Committee consists of three members, two of whom are lawyers (or another number as assigned by resolution of the Grand Council). Members are appointed biennially by the Grand Prytanis for a term of two years and until their successors are appointed and have accepted such appointment. One of these will be appointed chairman by the Grand Prytanis.
The Judiciary Committee is charged with all revisions of the Constitution and laws, and may suggest amendments and changes as they see fit. It is charged with organizing the articles when needed and advise the Grand Council on the legality of any proposed amendment. Other duties can be found in the Black Book under Article VIII (Page 15). Read about the Appointments
The CAC is a nine member committee which represents TKE’s 10,500 collegiate members, providing valuable insight and input to help improve the programs, services, and operations of the Fraternity. A representative of the CAC serves as a voting member of the Grand Council, TKE’s board of directors. Read more about the CAC.
