Frater Chris Silge Joins the TKE Foundation Board of Directors

The TKE Foundation is pleased to welcome Frater Christian (“Chris”) B. Silge to its Board of Directors.

Frater Silge initiated into TKE in 1983 at the Scorpion chapter at Cornell University. He is the grandson of Herbert F. Bruning, a member of the Scorpion chapter when the TKE Sigma chapter and Scorpion Fraternity merged in 1940. As a collegiate member, Chris served as Prytanis and graduated from Cornell with a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering.

He pursued a twenty-year career at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, serving as a Vice President in several divisions advancing technology, operations, project management, private wealth management, alternative investments and broker-dealer servicing. In 2016, Frater Silge joined William Blair & Co. as a Senior Project Manager, where he oversaw projects impacting regulatory matters, business efficiencies, compliance and vendor support.

Having spent his career working at multiple Wall Street firms, Chris applies his expertise and leadership as a self-employed financial services and project management consultant. Additionally, he volunteers his time and talent as the Treasurer of a large private charitable foundation.

Chris has been a committed supporter of the TKE Foundation since 1985, and he currently volunteers as a Foundation Ambassador. He is a former President of the Scorpion TKE Alumni Association and served on the chapter’s Board of Advisors until 1997.

Having served on the Board of Trustees of Shattuck-St. Mary’s School in Faribault, MN, and as a two-term Trustee of Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart in Lake Forest, IL, Frater Silge brings extensive Board leadership to the TKE Foundation. His experience as Chairman of the Woodlands Academy Development Committee and Finance Committee membership will inspire the Foundation’s advancement and continued growth.

“It is with great pleasure we welcome Frater Chris Silge to our Foundation Board of Directors. As an innovative and passionate leader in business, finance and operations, Chris will advance our strategic efforts in support of programs and services that build Better Men for a Better World,” TKE Foundation Chairman James E. Crockard shared.
