Aldrich Selected as ISAE Association Executive of the Year

INDIANAPOLIS – Earlier this evening, Tau Kappa Epsilon Chief Executive Officer, Donald E. Aldrich, was selected as the Indiana Society of Association Executive’s (ISAE) Executive of the Year.

Recipients of this award are recognized for their contributions to the management function of the nominee’s organization, significant contributions to the association/not-for-profit management profession, dedication and innovation shown in provision of services as well as leadership and service shown in the community.

“Donnie truly cares about all the people around him. The “Member’s First” philosophy he shares consistently permeates to the way he works with the Professional Staff ... He has been an outspoken and dedicated leader in shifting the way we work with our members, our volunteers, and alumni members,” read the nomination.

Approaching his ninth year on staff, Frater Aldrich, Rho-Upsilon (Franklin), has helped lead the organization by pushing new initiatives focused on benefiting our membership.

Under his guidance for nearly three full years as the Fraternity’s Chief Executive, TKE has implemented a successful eCompliance risk management training program and completed a $1 million commitment to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as well as begun a new $2.6 million commitment. With Aldrich's increased focus on providing resources to our membership, TKE has released new guides to help chapters be successful and is actively creating marketing and educational videos to help chapters, colonies and volunteers. Because of these initiatives and many more, the Fraternity’s financial health and average chapter size are the strongest they have been in decades.

Frater Aldrich’s passion for doing things the right way and dedication to treating the Fraternity like the family business demonstrates his commitment to TKE's purpose to “contributes to the advancement of society through the personal growth of our members, and service to others.”

The final paragraph of the nomination reads, "We can think of no person better for the honor of Association Executive of the Year for the Indiana Society of Association Executives than Donnie Aldrich. You will find no one more caring of his staff, more driven to provide an excellent experience for the members, or more dedicated to growth of the organization of the people he works with and the growth of the members of Tau Kappa Epsilon International Fraternity.”

Congratulations Frater Aldrich!
