St Jude Challenge – Epsilon & Alpha-Gamma

The Xi-Omega chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon has blown past their St. Jude goal. The Hokies raised $7,763 in just two weeks. After success through St. Jude’s free online fundraising utilities, the Tekes at Virginia Tech have passed on the St. Jude Challenge.

80 Hours of Jumping for St. Jude

The men at University of Central Oklahoma (Epsilon-Sigma) are jumping for 80 hours to raise money to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Besides setting up an online fundraising page through St. Jude’s TKE portal, they have also set up a live YouTube feed of their event.

Finish the School Year Strong

The Offices of the Grand Chapter want to remind to all chapter and colony leadership that the final deadline annual reports and KRA scorecard submissions is quickly closing. The Regional Teams of TKE want every E-Board member, chapter advisor, and local volunteer to mark May 10th on their calendar. May 10th is the Regional Deadline to add any last submissions that will impact your KRA scorecard, annual report, and annual award applications.

Let the St. Jude Challenge Begin

The St. Jude Challenge is an online fundraising competition that puts the men of Tau Kappa Epsilon in the fundraising spotlight. Participating chapters/colonies who register for the St. Jude Challenge will wait for their name to be called. Every two weeks, one chapter/colony in TKE Nation will have all eyes on them as they fundraise as much as they can for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Utilizing the online fundraising pages, members are encouraged to utilize social media to fundraise money from Fraters, friends, and family. Does your chapter have what it takes to be crowned the St. Jude Challenge Champion?

Michigan Tekes Raise Hope for St. Jude

Most people have drawn their attention toward the final four and major league baseball opening day. Two TKE chapters in the state of Michigan have decided to dedicate their time towards another cause; raising awareness and raising money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The Omega chapter at Albion College and the Upsilon chapter at the University of Michigan are finishing the month of March by raising money to save lives.

Updated KRA Rankings Available

Last week TKE nation was introduced to the live Key Result Area (KRAs) rankings for the 270 chapters of Tau Kappa Epsilon. Throught the key focuses of of fraternity, chapter success is measured throug a metric based system known as the KRAs. On the Chapter Module Dashboard, a KRA scorecard is presented to show groups where they are at in achieving their goals. There is still time to change your group’s overall score and climb the ranks in TKE nation.

Tau Kappa Epsilon’s commitment to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital has ties that date back to the founding of the hospital in 1962. Frater Danny Thomas built his vision through St. Jude in hopes to cure diseases to help children in their fight with life ending illnesses. As we approach the end of our fiscal year, there is still work to be done in achieving our chapter and colony goals. Has your group reached your St. Jude goal yet?

Did you participate in the St. Jude Give Thanks Walk, help move freshman into their residence halls, or volunteer at a local philanthropic event?
