Paul was raised in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin and encouraged to be part of his community. During his formative years he engaged in church activities, was a Boy Scout, and later joined DeMolay – where he was President during his senior year of high school.

During his collegiate years at Lambda Chapter (University of Wisconsin), he served as Grammateus and Epiprytanis, as well as TKE representative to the Inter-fraternity Council. On the IFC, Frater Paul served as Rush Chairman and Vice-President.

Professionally, Frater Aspinwall worked at IBM for 48 years. In his retirement, he has remained involved with his church, aiding their financial strength. He has served as the Chairman of the Finance Committee, Chair of the Endowment Foundation, President of the Church Council, and as Church Treasurer.

Frater Paul has served on the TKE Foundation Board since 2018. He has been inducted in the Circle of Excellence (2017) and been awarded the TKE Foundation Fraternity for Life Award (2022). A passionate fan of the Badgers, Frater Aspinwall resides in Madison, WI.
