John H. Heil was initiated into the Gamma-Lambda chapter at San Diego State University in the fall of 1983. He remains actively involved with the Fraternity as a member of the Gamma Lambda Chapter Board of Advisors and the San Diego Alumni Association. He is a Life Loyal Teke and joined the TKE Foundation Board of Directors in 2026. His enduring commitment to TKE reflects his belief in mentorship, leadership and service to future generations of Fraters.

Frater Heil is President and Financial Advisor at Market Capital Management, a Carlsbad, California–based financial planning and wealth management firm. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from San Diego State University and later completed a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Finance.

Frater Heil has also served his community through the Carlsbad Education Foundation and the Carlsbad Youth Baseball Board of Directors. He received the Carlsbad Unified School District’s Team Power Award in recognition of his commitment and collaborative efforts to enrich local education. John and his wife, Michelle, have lived in Carlsbad since 1987 and have three grown children: Melissa, Christopher and Megan.
