Brad Bohannan attended University of Central Missouri and holds a degree in Criminal Justice. Raised in Missouri and now proudly calling Louisiana home, Brad resides with his wife, the Honorable Arita Bohannan, and their two sons, Deuce and Bryce.

An accomplished publisher and award-winning documentary producer, Brad has received recognition from the Juno Awards and the Grammy Awards for his contributions to media and entertainment. Brad has also become a familiar presence on national and local food shows and podcasts, where his passion for culture, food, and storytelling has connected with audiences across the country.

Brad and Arita are passionate advocates for inclusive recreation and accessibility for children of all abilities. Together, they have supported efforts to build and improve playgrounds for special needs children throughout the community. Their dedication to inclusion and family-centered spaces led to Brad being inducted into the Unlimited Play Hall of Fame.

Known for his creativity, community involvement, and passion for helping others, Brad continues to use his platform to promote family, public service, tourism, recreation, and the unique culture of Jefferson Parish and the Greater New Orleans region.
