David L. Bohline

Beta-Sigma
University of Southern California

Frater David Bohline initiated into the Beta-Sigma Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon at University of Southern California in 1985. During his time at USC, he served one term as Epiprytanis and two terms as Prytanis. He graduated in 1990 from the USC School of International Relations with a dual degree in Political Science.  Since graduation, he has served continuously as an alumni volunteer for his Chapter. His service includes Chapter Advisor (1990-2000), Board of Advisors Chairman (2001-2022), Treasurer of the Housing Corporation (1995-2022), and his current role as Chairman of the Housing Corporation and Board of Trustees.

Frater Bohline’s service to TKE Nation is extensive and impactful. He has served as a Province Advisor, Grand Province Advisor for Southern California, and as Grand Hypophetes. In recognition of his dedication, he has received numerous honors, including the Grand Prytanis Key Leader Award (1993), (1997), induction into the TKE Advisory Hall of Fame (2011), Grand Prytanis Award (2013), Volunteer of the Year (2017) and induction into the Circle of Excellence (2022).  Since 2018, Frater Bohline (Golden Eagle Society) has served as a member of the TKE Foundation Board of Directors. In 2020, he was elected Vice Chairman of External Affairs and in 2024 was elected Chairman of the Board.

His professional career is intertwined with TKE. In 1995, David co-founded the advertising agency Apollo Interactive with two fraternity brothers and has since hired more than 20 TKE alumni. His professional circle continues to reflect that connection, as his company’s lawyer, accountant, and architect are all members of TKE.

David enjoys volunteering at his church as a Lector and Communion Minister. He is passionate about developing strategies to fund chapter house purchases for TKE, opposing anti-fraternity university policies, engaging in lively political discussion and debate, and watching college football—especially the USC Trojans. He lives in El Segundo, California, and enjoys vacations in Florida.
