Fraters Raise Money for Sick Staten Island Girl

Fraters of Upsilon-Lambda

STATEN ISLAND, NY – The Upsilon-Lambda Chapter (College of Staten Island) came together to help a little girl stricken with an incurable disease. Their efforts netted more than $6,000 and widespread praise form the local community. They earned the New York 1 News Stations Staten Islander of the Week honors for their work to help out 5-year-old Sarah Boschi. She was diagnosed with Familial Mediterranean Fever at age two, an inflammatory disease that attacks her in seven different ways – most prominent being fever. Instead of sitting idly by, Fraters stepped up to make a difference.
