About Jim Johnston
Frater Jim Johnston graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 1977 with a degree in business. As an undergraduate, he served as Rush Chairman for three years, was Epiprytanis, Hegemon and Histor.
Jim served the International Fraternity as Chapter Services Director from 1977 – 1979. He is a Life Loyal Teke and an inductee into the TKE Oklahoma Hall of Fame. Currently, Jim serves as the Grand Province Advisor for both the Heartland (OK) and Volunteer (TN) Provinces.
Jim is an avid traveler. He has visited 18 countries and all 50 states, having lived in 12 of them. Jim has led nine mission trips to Nicaragua where they have built three churches and developed children’s feeding programs.
Throughout Jim's 36 year career in the foodservice business, he has held leadership positions at Ambrosia Chocolate, Nabisco Foods, Butterball Turkey and Con Agra Foods. He is currently the Director of the Non-Commercial Business for Smithfield Foods.
Jim is married, has four grown sons and lives in Cordova, TN.
