TKE Library: Feburary 2018 Book Recommendation

TKE Library: Feburary 2018 Book Recommendation

In December of 1939, THE TEKE began running ads and articles centered around the Teke Library.

In keeping with this tradition, we have started a new tradition. About once per month, a member of the TKE Headquarters staff, Grand Council member, or the TKE Educational Foundation team will recommend a book. Books will vary from topic to topic and will be centered around helping you to become a Better Man for a Better World.

This month's recommendation comes from Frater Nate Lehman. Nate is an initiate of the Theta-Iota chapter (Northern Michigan University). He joined the staff in in 2007 and is currently our Director of Fraternal Health.

How Full Is Your Bucket?
by Tom Rath and Donald O. Clifton

“This has become my go-to book any time someone has asked for a recommendation since reading it 5+ years ago. Centered around the simple metaphor that our lives are like a bucket and the interactions we have are like a dipper, either pouring in to our bucket or dipping from it. The reality of this relationship is that we control which happens in our lives, which the book discusses in detail. Embracing this simple idea, based in over 50 years of research, can help bring more positivity to your life and your relationships with others.”
