TKE Establishes Three New Alumni Associations

TKE Establishes Three New Alumni Associations

Since the beginning of this fiscal year (June 1), TKE has established three new Alumni Associations:  Pi-Alpha Alumni Association (Ashland University), Upsilon-Pi Alumni Association (University of California-Santa Cruz) and the Phoenix Alumni Association.

The Phoenix Alumni Association has wasted no time in organizing a fund raising effort for St. Jude Children’s Hospital. The Association raised over $1,300 from a poker tournament that was hosted by Frater Don Tapia at his home.

"I believe Alumni Associations are the power houses that will drive alumni engagement and their services are of great benefit to Tau Kappa Epsilon," Todd Farmer, Senior Director of Alumni Engagement said.

To register your Alumni Association or see if you are already recognized, go to aa.tke.org  To share an upcoming event for your association go to: tke.org/submit/event

"We should not rest until every chapter, both active and dormant, has the support system of an Alumni Association," Farmer said.

About Alumni Associations

An Alumni Association is a group working together to foster the TKE spirit among alumni of many generations. An association is chartered either as a chapter-based or area-based Alumni Association. Alumni Associations plan social and philanthropic events just like a chapter, and many Alumni Associations award scholarships to collegiate members.
